What are the main responsibilities of a tourist photographer?
As a tourist photographer, your responsibilities include approaching guests in hotels and resorts, offering and making photo sessions, editing images and selling them to customers.
Do I need previous experience in photography or will training be provided?
We welcome both amateur and professionals. Previous knowledge of photography is appreciated, but it is not mandatory, since training will be provided.
What is training?
We offer a one -week training program before hiring candidates. Includes theoretical and practical learning to help you understand role and responsibilities.
What equipment will I use and will be provided by the company?
We provide our photographers with a Nikon DSLR and a flash camera, so you will have all the necessary tools to do your job.
Is accommodation provided or should I fix it on my own?
We provide shared accommodation for all our photographers, so you do not need to fix your own home.
Are the meals included?
Yes, meals are included during your work hours.
Should I cover my own travel expenses for training or workplace?
Candidates must cover the cost of their first plane ticket to Lanzarote. However, the company will reimburse this expense after a established work period.
Is it necessary to have fluency in Spanish or another language for this position?
Although some Spanish knowledge is appreciated, our priority language is English. The training is done in English and most of our customers communicate in English as well.
Do I need to have a Nie or work permit before starting, or the company can help me get it?
For EU citizens, we help obtain the necessary documentation to work in Spain.
Will there be professional growth opportunities within the company?
Yeah! Photographers can be promoted to Photo Manager and, with good productivity and initiative, even to Manager area.
